Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has rejected reports that the club are interested in Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

Hernandez has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane this summer, after learning he is surplus to requirements at the moment.

"About Javier Hernandez, those are rumours and nothing more," Pochettion said on Wednesday night after Tottenham's 2-1 loss to the MLS All-Stars. "There is nothing concrete. He is a Manchester United player and logically a lot of names are getting suggested for Tottenham and Javier is just one more."

The Mexican spent last year on loan at Real Madrid and did not travel to Seattle with Louis van Gaal's 27-man squad for the pre-season tour of the US as he was on international duty at the Gold Cup.
