Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has hailed Belgian sensation Divock Origi as a 'huge prospect' ahead of his potential £10 million move to Anfield.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful World Cup campaign, making his mark as an impact sub to help Belgium qualify top of Group C. He scored the winner against Russia and was impressive in the 1-0 win over South Korea which clinched top spot for the Diables Rouges.

Although currently contracted to Ligue 1 outfit Lille, Origi's performances have not gone unnoticed with several European clubs are said to be in the hunt for the talented winger.

It is reported that he is edging closer to a move to a £10 million move to Liverpool that would see him move back to the French club on loan next season.

And Mignolet, speaking after Belgium's victory over South Korea, said "He is very, very good,"

"The last couple of games he has come in for us, done a great job and changed the game.

"He is a huge prospect, and still only young.

"Today when he came onto the pitch he showed his class and helped us win the game. He is an exciting player."

Origi could become Liverpool's fourth summer signing after the arrivals of Emre Can and Rickie Lambert, with Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana also close to a £25 million switch to Anfield.
