West Ham are hoping they can sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez. The Mexican is currently on loan with Real Madrid where he has scored four goals in 16 appearances but his lack of game time suggests the 26-year-old will not be kept on beyond this season. Louis van Gaal has a wealth of options at his disposal at Old Trafford meaning Hernandez could slip between the two clubs. According to Spanish newspaper AS, West Ham are monitoring the situation. Hernandez has 18 months left on his United contract.

A possible arrival at Old Trafford might be Marco Reus. Whilst the German midfielder only signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund earlier this week, the Daily Star reports that Manchester United could still sign him if they stump up £50m.

Surely Fabio Coentrao will end up in the Premier League sooner or later. The Portugal international has been linked with a switch to England from Real Madrid so much it almost feels like he's here already. According to the Metro, Arsenal are now keen on the 26-year-old left-back and are readying a bid of around £25m. If they bid that much, Real Madrid are thought likely to accept.

West Ham's move for Lassana Diarra is off. Sam Allardyce had expressed a belief that the former Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid midfielder would agree to sign up at Upton Park. The free agent had been training with the Hammers. However, Allardyce has reeled back and blamed “administrative reasons” for the deal now looking unlikely.

Paulo Dybala, who has been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, could be set for a big move in the summer. The 21-year-old Argentina striker has been banging in the goals this term with 11 in 21 Serie A appearances. A January transfer failed to transpire but the president of his club Palermo has said the player will be sold during the next window. "I will sell him, I am almost certain of this," he told Italian newspaper Tuttosport. Juventus and a host of Spanish sides have also been linked.
