24 August: Dutch winger Arjen Robben has been linked with a big money move to Manchester United.

21 August: Sir Alex Ferguson will not go back into the transfer market to solve Manchester United's early season scoring problems.

20 August: Nemanja Vidic's agent has confirmed the Manchester United defender is "happy" at the club.

19 August: Manchester United must brace themselves for another summer of upheaval in 2010 after it was revealed Nemanja Vidic is likely to move on.

18 August: Watford have signed Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley on loan until January.

17 August: Bayern Munich's French ace Franck Ribery has moved to try and put an end to speculation about his future by insisting that he has never asked to leave his current club. The 26-year-old has been a target for the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea for much of the summer, but Ribery says that he is content to stay at the Allianz Arena.

5 August: Jonny Evans is being lined-up for a stunning summer exit from Manchester United with the Northern Ireland defender swapping Old Trafford for Spain. Evans last night emerged as a target for European champions Barcelona and it is believed that the Spanish giants are ready to tempt United with a £12m offer for the 21-year-old.

3 August: Manchester United and Liverpool are poised to go to war over Valencia hotshot David Villa. Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is determined to snap up Villa once Xabi Alonso completes his move to Real Madrid but he faces stiff competition from his fierce rival, Sir Alex Ferguson.

3 August: Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will speak to Valencia about moves for midfielder David Silva and striker David Villa.
