Manchester United and Arsenal target Angel di Maria looks set to leave Real Madrid for Paris Saint Germain this summer in a stunning £63m deal - according to reports in Spain.

Madrid newspaper Marca, claim the Argentina international will become Real's most expensive ever departure - a record currently reserved for Mesut Ozil after his £42.5m switch to Arsenal last summer.

PSG will have Financial Fair Play to adhere to, however, after already signing David Luiz from Chelsea for £50m earlier in the transfer window.

One way the Parisian club could get around the problem would be signing the 26-year-old on loan before completing the deal in twelve months time.

After reaching the World Cup final with his Argentinian teammates this summer, Real manager Carlo Ancelotti doesn't expect di Maria back in training until 5th August and has rubbished claims he is set to leave the Bernabeu.

"There is nothing new in the market," he told reporters. "Di Maria finished the World Cup and he is resting. He will return on August 5 to start (training) together with his team-mates."

Having won the Champions League and Copa del Rey last season, Real are touring the United States and fell to defeat against Inter Milan on penalties in California on Saturday.

Gareth Bale, who scored in both cup finals last year, made the headlines again with a magnificent strike in normal time. Despite the attacking potency at his disposal, Ancelotti is thought to be eyeing a loan move for Monaco's want-away striker Radamel Falcao‎.

United and Arsenal, who have both coveted di Maria since Christmas, must now seemingly look elsewhere.
