Manchester United should sign Hugo Lloris over Jasper Cillessen according to former keeper Mark Bosnich.

United have been linked with a move for Ajax's Dutch goalie, but Bosnich insists the signing of Tottenham's Lloris would prove to be the better result for his former club.

The Australian told Talk Sport: “I’m not 100 per cent certain about him [Cillessen]. I think he did OK at the World Cup [for Holland], but he’s not one who stands out in terms of being dominant.

“The English Premier League is definitely the most physically demanding in the world and it takes foreign players quite a while to adjust to that.

“We saw during [David] De Gea’s first season, it was a bit of a struggle. Lloris knows the Premier League inside out and he’s had success.”

Despite the signing of Sergio Romero, United are reportedly still in the market for a goalkeeper as they prepare for the loss of David De Gea.
