Manchester United have agreed a £16m transfer for Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo, with Portuguese winger Nani heading back to his former side Sporting on a season-long loan as part of the deal.

Rojo has won 28 caps for Argentina, and started in the World Cup final against Germany, which his side lost 1-0.
