Memphis Depay transfer news: PSV Eindhoven winger reveals Premier League interest in him ahead of Netherlands v Mexico World Cup clash
Depay has impressed in Brazil and has admitted that Manchester United, Manchester City and Spurs are monitoring his progress
Netherlands winger Memphis Depay has revealed that he is aware of Premier League interest in him regarding a summer move to England, but stresses that nothing will be decided until his World Cup commitments have come to an end.
Depay has admitted to Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad that he has read of interest coming from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham.
With the Netherlands taking on Mexico for a place in the World Cup quarter-finals later today though, Depay has stated that any talk of a transfer will be put off until after the Netherlands’ participation in Brazil comes to an end.
“Of course I've read that Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are interested. But no more than that,” said Depay.
“I'll see later. My agent Kees Ploegsma is here [in Brazil] too, but we are not talking about that kind of stuff. That is for after the World Cup.”
The PSV Eindhoven star was asked whether he could stay with the Eredivisie club for the next season, to which he replied: “I don't rule that out.
“I've not become a champion with PSV. The fact is that people now ask me what I'm going to do and I understand that. But now, it's the World Cup.”

Strengths, weaknesses and key men
There are high hopes in the Netherlands that Depay will go on to become one of their most influential players, with the 20-year-old already impressing at the World Cup as he came off the bench to score the winning goal in the 3-2 Group B victory over Australia that confirmed their place in the last-16.
Depay also scored in the 2-0 win over now-eliminated Chile, which saw the Dutch finish top of their group and avoid Brazil in the second round as a result. With Louis van Gaal’s side taking on the Group A runners-up later today, victory would set-up a favourable quarter-final against the winner of Costa Rica v Greece.
