Newcastle are reportedly close to completing the signing of Melbourne Heart defender Curtis Good for a fee of around £400,000. The 19-year-old has been on a two-week trial with the Magpies and is now expected to sign a deal with the club shortly. Good made 25 appearances for Melbourne last season, including 19 starts, as the club reached the A-League final for the first time in their history.
