Arsenal fans were hit with the shock news this morning that they will be without striker Olivier Giroud after he suffered an ankle injury in the draw with Everton.

The French forward will have a scan to determine the extent of the damage on his left foot, but there are fears he has fractured a bone, an injury that will leave him out for three months.

The rumour mill has spun into life this morning with various players being linked with a move to north London to fear the Gunners' striking woes.
