Atletico Madrid are reported to be lining up Arsenal star Santi Cazorla as a possible replacement for Arda Turan, who is linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.

According to The Times, Atletico Madrid, who have been interested in Cazorla for the past three summers, see the 30-year-old as the perfect replacement for Turan, 28.

Cazorla was one of Arsenal's best players last season, scoring eight goals and leading Arsene Wenger's team in assists with 15 in all competitions

However, the Spaniard has just a year left to run on his contract and the report states that he could be tempted to return back to his native country.

Cazorla moved to Arsenal from Malaga in 2012 and has played 148 times for the club, helping them win the FA Cup in successive seasons.
