Southampton transfer news: Could Morgan Schneiderlin be the latest man to join the Saints exodus?

Following the moves of Luke Shaw and Rickie Lambert, and Adam Lallana's expected departure from the club, Morgan Schneiderlin has hinted that he may be the latest man to leave Southampton this summer.
With Shaw's £30m move to Old Trafford sealed on Friday and Lallana expected to sign with Liverpool soon, joining up with former team-mate Lambert, Schneiderlin has put suitors Tottenham and Arsenal on standby after saying "every player wants to play on big occasions."
Schneiderlin, who was talking to the press ahead of France's last 16 clash with Nigeria, said: "Listen, I'm aware of Southampton's situation. On a personal level the club know my position and know what I want to do. I had a good conversation with all the directors.
"I've been there for a long time now. We'll see how things go but the directors know my position and what my intentions are.
"Everyone has ambitions, everyone has his own future in his hands so we'll see. Every player wants to play on big occasions."
He was even asked if he might join up with former boss Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs, but remained tight lipped: “I'm not saying anything!”
Schneiderlin was ever-present for Southampton last season, making 33 appearances and scoring two goals.
