Ezekiel Fryers
Spurs look set to add young left-back Ezekiel Fryers to their squad as the 19-year-old was unable to agree a contract extension with Manchester United. Newcastle United had been closely tracking him but are thought to have lost out in their pursuit of the former Youth FA Cup winner who made two first team appearances last season. Should the deal be completed, Fryers will compete with Benoit Assou-Ekotto as Tottenham try to strengthen their defence.
