Transfer news: Manchester United pursuit of Cesc Fabregas continues - 'it is ongoing' says David Moyes
The midfielder's head has been turned by the interest from United
Manchester United refuse to be deterred in their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas - despite a letter from the Barcelona president informing them the midfielder is not for sale under any circumstances.
The Premier League champions have now made two bids for the 27-year-old, with the latest bid understood to be in the region of £30m.
After that bid, it emerged Sandro Rosell had written an official letter telling them that Fabregas is not for sale and they should stop disrupting the player.
However, manager David Moyes revealed today that their pursuit of the former Arsenal captain "is ongoing".
The Independent revealed yesterday that sources close to the Spain international suggest his head has been turned by interest from United to the extent that he is “considering his future”.
New Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino’s first job will be to persuade him not to leave the Nou Camp.
