Nani could become a Valencia player this week if Singaporean businessman's proposed take-over of the club goes through according to reports.

Lim, who once tried to buy Liverpool, will reportedly find out on Wednesday whether his £250m offer for the Spanish club has been accepted.

Provided that Lim's takeover of the debt-riddled club is approved, then he has pledged to spend £40m in this window, with Nani thought to be one of his first buys.

Nani's agent Jorge Mendes is reported to be working closely with Lim in order to work the deal through and the two spoke at the Balon d'Or gala on Monday evening.

Slightly more unrealistically, Valencia have also been linked with a move for Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao, another of Mendes' clients, although his exorbitant transfer fee and wages would surely make this move highly unlikely.
