Paris Saint Germain think €60m bid will be enough to get Eden Hazard from Chelsea

Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain are confident they will be able to ensnare Chelsea's Belgian winger Eden Hazard next summer with a €60m offer.

The Parisian club are renowned for their aggressive pursuits of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva and are hoping to repeat the feat with the Blues midfielder.

According to Le 10 Sport in the French capital, PSG manager Laurent Blanc and chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi have put Hazard at the top of their summer hit list.

They are understandably wary that Chelsea will be stubborn to comply with any such deal and believe a huge transfer fee will be required - which they are reportedly willing to pay.

After signing Uruguayan striker Edison Cavani in the summer for £53m, they've proven their readiness to spend before.

It remains to be seen whether Hazard would entertain a move, however, after impressing in England.

Jose Mourinho is thought to be aware of their interest and has asked the Chelsea hierarchy to secure the Belgian international on a new long-term deal, which would involve a significant pay increase to ward off any offer from PSG.
