Manchester City have identified Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as their main summer target. The 21-year-old, who left rivals Manchester United in 2012, has been linked with a £70m move to the Etihad, according to reports.

Pogba is seen as a replacement for Yaya Toure, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

United, meanwhile, are reportedly weighing up an offer with Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez. The highly-rated 20-year-old, who has been described as "the new Xabi Alonso" for his range of passing, scored a sublime overhead kick in Atletico's 4-0 thrashing of rivals Real Madrid on Saturday.

Should Real capture United goalkeeper David De Gea in the summer, the Premier League side will make an bid for Tottenham's 'keeper Hugo Lloris, according to the Daily Mirror.

De Gea has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, with the Spanish giants interested.

Barcelona's West Ham loanee Alex Song says he will make a decision on his future at the end of the season, but stated that he would favour staying in London.

"We will see at the end of the season,” Song said. “At the moment I am very happy here. My family is happy. The most important thing is happiness. I will see what happens and then I will make my decision at the end of the year.

“My future will be in England. I think I have more opportunities to stay in London because I have my house in London, my family live here, my kids have a lot of friends in London. Somewhere in my mind says: ‘I have to stay in London.’ I would love to stay here but I don’t know what I will choose at the end of the season. At the moment I am just happy to do my job and then we will see.”

Tottenham are favourites to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old could set Spurs back £25m.
