Manchester United are set to make a dramatic late bid for Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels before the transfer window closes tomorrow night, according to the Daily Mail.

United would have to pay £37m for the Dortmund captain, who is understood to be Louis van Gaal's No 1 target.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will meet Jose Luis Gaya's £13.5m release clause as he looks to beat Real Madrid and Barcelona to the 19-year-old Valencia left-back's signature, according to the Daily Express.

Valencia have also offered Nicolas Otamendi a new contract in order to fend off interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, according to the Sunday Mirror.

PSG playmaker Yohan Cayabe could be subject of a late approach from Tottenham, according to The Sun. The former Newcastle playmaker is seen as the creative spark needed by Mauricio Pochettino.

West Brom are now leading the race to sign Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher after his move to West Ham collapsed on Saturday, according to the Daily Mail.
