31 August: West Brom have completed the signing of defender Jonas Olsson from NEC Nijmegen for a fee of £800,000, the club have announced on their website. (PA)

29 August: West Brom have had an £800,000 offer accepted by NEC Nijmegen for central defender Jonas Olsson, subject to a medical, the midlands club have announced. (PA)

28 August: Aberdeen have signed West Brom defender Jared Hodgkiss on loan until January. (PA)

28 August: West Brom defender Paul Robinson has signed a new two-year contract up until the end of the 2009-2010 season, the club have confirmed. (PA)

22 August: West Brom today completed the signing of Borja Valero from Real Mallorca for a club record £4.7m. (PA)

12 August: Portuguese defender Tininho has been released by West Brom. The left-back joined Albion from Beira Mar last summer in a £230,000 deal but made only one appearance for the club in their opening Coca-Cola Championship clash against Barnsley last season. (PA)

10 August: West Brom have confirmed the £2million signing of defender Abdoulaye Meite from Bolton on a three-year contract.

5 August: West Brom manager Tony Mowbray insists he will not break the club's wage structure to bring in more new players before the start of the season. Mowbray is determined to overcome the disappointment of missing out on Madjid Bougherra, who joined Rangers at the 11th hour, and Bolton's Abdoulaye Meite. But he will not pay over-inflated wages as he strives to add to his summer signings to date before the Barclays Premier League opener with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in 11 days' time. (PA)

4 August: West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace insists his absence from transfer talks was not the reason Madjid Bougherra snubbed the club in favour of a transfer to Rangers. (PA)

3 August: Madjid Bougherra has revealed how he was seconds away from signing for West Brom before Rangers manager Walter Smith made a dramatic last-gasp swoop. The Algeria international, 25, was all set to finalise a deal with the Baggies but the transfer was put on hold because chairman Jeremy Peace was not available to rubber-stamp the move. The delay allowed Rangers to make a late bid and Bougherra admits the prospect of playing in Europe convinced him to turn his back on the English top flight and move to Ibrox in a four-year deal worth £2.5million. (PA)

22 July: Goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi insists he is happy at Bolton but would have to carefully consider any potential offer to move away from the Reebok Stadium. Al Habsi, who made 10 Barclays Premier League appearances last season, has discussed the prospect of leaving Bolton with his agent Peter Harrison, with persistent reports linking him with Turkey's Galatasaray, newly-promoted West Brom and Coca-Cola Championship side Ipswich. (PA)

18 July: West Brom have signed Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson for £3.25m.

15 July: West Brom have signed Slovakia international left-back Marek Cech from Porto in a £1.4million deal, the club have confirmed.

9 July: Birmingham have signed veteran striker Kevin Phillips on a free transfer from West Brom. The 34-year-old former England international had been holding out for a two-year contract at the Hawthorns but Albion were only prepared to offer one year. (PA)

8 July: West Brom manager Tony Mowbray admits he expects to lose veteran striker Kevin Phillips this summer. Mowbray said: "I'm pretty sure his preferred choice would be to stay here. But, at this moment, it is unlikely he will stay here. If there's a stumbling block that we can't overcome then so be it." (PA)

7 July: Out-of-contract Albion striker Kevin Phillips appears to be edging towards a move to local rivals Birmingham. Phillips has spent the last two seasons with West Brom and Mowbray is keen to retain the services of the 35-year-old. But Phillips, who scored 24 goals last season, is likely to take up Alex McLeish's offer of a two-year deal. (PA)

4 July: Tony Mowbray expects to find out over the weekend whether veteran striker Kevin Phillips will remain with West Brom or make the switch to city rivals Birmingham. (PA)

3 July: West Brom tonight confirmed the £3.2million signing of right-back Gianni Zuiverloon on an initial three-year deal. The Holland Under-21 international, the Baggies' fifth summer capture as they prepare for life back in the Barclays Premier League, joins from Dutch club Heerenveen, who revealed the move yesterday. (PA)

30 June: Derby County manager Paul Jewell knows he faces competition from Middlesbrough for the signature of the Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde. Negotiations between Derby, relegated from the top flight last season, and Swansea have stalled after their £2m offer for the Dutchman was rejected. Premier League newcomers West Bromwich Albion have also been linked with the 26-year-old and Jewell said: "I would imagine there are a few clubs in for Ferrie because he's a good player. I know Middlesbrough were interested, so we're up against some decent competition. If West Brom are in for him, we've got to try to get over that hurdle. We'd just like the opportunity to speak to the player."

27 June: Craig Shakespeare is expected to be named as Nigel Pearson's assistant manager at Leicester after leaving his post at West Brom.

23 June: Shola Ameobi looks poised to move to West Brom after sources close to the player indicated the Newcastle striker was keen to play under Tony Mowbray. Mowbray is believed to be close to agreeing a deal in the region of £2.5-3m for the former England Under-21 player. (PA)

19 June: Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi could yet play his football in the Barclays Premier League next season. It is understood promoted West Brom have expressed an interest in the 26-year-old, who is due to return from his honeymoon next week. (PA)

19 June: West Brom have paved the way for Celtic to sign Pat McCourt after ending their interest in the Derry City winger. (PA)

17 June: Defender Paul Robinson has called on West Brom to offer him a new contract as he enters the final 12 months of his current three-year deal. The 29-year-old has indicated he would like to stay with the Baggies on a long-term basis. But the former Watford player also hinted he may be prepared to wind down his contract if Albion do not offer him the package he feels he deserves. (PA)

10 June: Adel Taarabt's agent Rudy Raba claims Premier League new boys West Brom have stepped up their efforts to sign the 19-year-old on loan. The Tottenham midfielder is reportedly keen on a move to The Hawthorns as he seeks regular first-team football and was the subject of an Albion inquiry during the last loan window. (PA)

9 June: Zoltan Gera has declined a new contract with West Brom and has decided to join Fulham, according to the midlands club. "Having offered Zoltan the best contract the club could at this time, we could do no more," said manager Tony Mowbray.

5 June: West Brom's out-of-contract midfielder Zoltan Gera is understood to be attracting interest from Fulham - and is tempted by the possibility of a move to Craven Cottage. The Baggies have made the Hungary international a final lucrative contract offer to remain at the Hawthorns. (PA)
