Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is up for sale and could leave in this transfer window, according to reports.

The 34-year-old Swede has been linked with a move to former club AC Milan this summer, although PSG manager Laurent Blanc has stated that he does not want to see the striker leave Paris.

According to the Daily Mail, Ibrahimovic is available for a cut-price fee.

Despite both Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal stating that they are happy with their current set of strikers, both clubs will be undoubtedly be linked with Ibrahimovic.

The mercurial striker has a stunning CV and has scored a whopping 106 goals in just 126 matches in his three seasons in France, helping the club win the title in each of his seasons.

He has a large wage packet but despite his advancing years, he would represent an upgrade over Olivier Giroud if he were to move to the Emirates, and would help the seemingly overworked Wayne Rooney at Old Trafford.

The Mail reports that the United hierarchy may be reluctant to bring him to the club, given his sizeable ego, while Arsene Wenger rarely spends big money on ageing stars.

The signing of Angel Di Maria doesn't seem to have changed Ibrahimovic's desire to leave, although Laurent Blanc seems convinced he will return to action soon.

"Zlatan is following his recovery programme, he is still not 100 percent healed yet," Blanc said on Saturday.

"He is making good progress in his recovery and we hope that he can return next week."

The decision to sell Ibrahimovic may be to keep Edinson Cavani happy, the Uruguayan, 28, wants a role as a central striker and has six years on his team-mate.

Ibrahimovic has won 12 league titles (two revoked because of the Calciopoli scandal) with six clubs in four countries, and has 340 career goals.
