Yaya and Kolo Toure have announced they will continue at the 2014 World Cup with the Ivory Coast despite the tragic death of their younger brother Ibrahim, who passed away on Thursday aged 28.
A statement released on Saturday by the Ivorian Football Federation confirmed the two brothers will continue to participate in Brazil.
“The Toure brothers have decided to stay with the team. They are not leaving Brazil,” a representative said.

They could feature in the final group game against Greece on Tuesday, where the Ivorian’s know that victory will see them progress to the second knockout round.
Should they slip-up, one of either Japan or Greece could sneak through as runners-up to the Colombians, although a draw will see the second qualifier decided on goal difference.
Kolo is yet to make his 2014 World Cup debut, as he has been an unused substitute in both matches. He recently revealed that he had suffered a bout of malaria before the tournament.
