The 20-year-old was given a public warning as it was his first violation and UK Athletics were satisfied there was no intention to enhance his performance.

Under anti-doping laws the athlete is responsible for any substance is in his or her body but a statement from UK Athletics said: "He accepted the substance was in his sample but said that he had not smoked cannabis and it must have been due to passive smoking."

Moore failed a drugs test at a meeting in Merksem, Belgium, where he had won the long jump.He has been warned that he faces a two-year suspension if he tests positive for cannabis again.
