Britain's Holly Bleasdale set a season's best record of 4.75 metres to win the pole vault at yesterday's Russian Winter meeting in Moscow.
Bleasdale, who finished sixth in the London Olympics, needed three attempts to clear 4.65m, but then cleared 4.70m with her second attempt and 4.75m at the first.
Three failures followed at 4.80m, but the 21-year-old had done enough to win the event.
