George Groves has his third crack at a world title in the early hours of Sunday morning, when he challenges Badou Jack for his WBC super-middleweight title on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's bout against Andre Berto at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The ring walk for the Groves fight is expected between 1am and 2am, depending on how long the fights before last.

Groves was beaten by Carl Froch in both of his previous two world title contests - the first by a controversial stoppage in November 2013, the second by a conclusive knockout in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Since then, Groves has won two fights - against Christopher Rebrasse and Denis Douglin - putting himself back in wold title contention.

"I'm really excited. I'm ready to fight and have been for a long time," the 27-year-old said.

"We've been out in the States for five or six weeks and I knew this period would feel like it was dragging. I'm counting down the seconds until September 12.

"Every fight, you feel pressure. There's the same pressure as the last if not more, because every one feels more important. After losing my last world title challenge, there was a lot of pressure there."
