James DeGale to consider retirement after Chris Eubank Jr fight

Chris Eubank Jr will be joined by younger brother Sebastian on the bill for his super-middleweight showdown with James DeGale at London’s O2 Arena.

Light-heavyweight Sebastian faces Richard Harrison over four rounds in what will be the 27-year-old’s second appearance as a professional.

Eubank beat Polish fighter Kamil Kulczyk on his debut last February when he was on the undercard for his brother’s fight against George Groves in Manchester.

“I’m really looking forward to being on this great show at The O2,” Sebastian said ahead of Saturday’s show.

“It’s been a year since my last fight, but I have had a great training camp in Dubai and really want to move forward with my boxing career and add to the Eubank legacy.”

Eubank Jr’s clash with former IBF world super-middleweight champion DeGale tops a show that features the Commonwealth heavyweight title fight between champion Joe Joyce and challenger Bermane Stiverne.

Welshman Lee Selby takes on American Omar Douglas as he returns to action for the first time since losing his IBF world featherweight crown to Josh Warrington last May.
