Ice Hockey: Britain's poor run continues
Great Britain opened the final leg of the Euro Hockey Challenge series in Austria yesterday with a 4-2 defeat by Slovenia.
Peter Rozic's goal separated the sides at the end of the first period, and Jurij Golicic doubled Slovenia's lead just past the midway point. James Morgan pulled one back for Britain before two goals in as many minutes from Luka Zagar and Tomaz Vnuk stretched Slovenia's lead. Steve Thornton scored a consolation in the last second.
Britain, who have won just one of their 10 matches in the series, next face Italy.
