UFC Champion Ronda Rousey has appeared to have taken a dig at Floyd Mayweather's history of domestic abuse.

Whilst promoting her role in the upcoming film Entourage, Rousey was asked how she would get on in a hypothetical fight against the undefeated champion.

"Well, I would never say that I can’t beat anyone," she told Access Hollywood.

"I don’t think me and him would ever fight unless we ended up dating."

It's unclear whether she just means they would fight in a non-violent way of if she was referencing his past.

Mayweather has been charged on multiple occasions with domestic violence and misdemeanor battery, receiving a six-month suspended sentence in 2002, a one-year suspended sentence in 2004 and serving 90 days in county jail in 2012.
