UFC president Dana White has confirmed that Ronda Rousey will get her immediate rematch against Holly Holm.

Holm shocked the mixed martial arts world by comprehensively handing Rousey her first loss in the UFC back in November at the UFC 193 event. Before that fight, in Melbourne, Australia, Rousey had won all six of her UFC fights before in dominant fashion, but was swept aside with ease by former professional boxer Holm.

But despite the one-sided win, White says that the rematch is going to happen, and Holm has also agreed that Rousey deserves the rematch.

"I think that if we didn't make the rematch, me and [UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta] should probably lose our promoter's license," White revealed. "That's the fight that's going to happen. That's the fight.

"She deserves a rematch. Holly agrees she deserves a rematch. We'll figure it out."
