Wednesday 12 January 2011
Derrick Rose scored 29 points as the Chicago Bulls continued their domination over the Detroit Pistons with a 95-82 victory on Monday night in the battle between the two British players in the NBA, Luol Deng and Ben Gordon.
Rose scored 11 of his game-high 29 points in the final three and a half minutes of the third and Deng's Bulls ended the quarter on a 13-2 run to blow past a Detroit side that had squandered a 12-point half-time lead.
Carlos Boozer added 27 points and 11 rebounds for Chicago, who beat Gordon's side for the third time this season and the 10th consecutive time overall. Tayshaun Prince's 15 points led the way for the Pistons, who lost for the fourth time in five games.
