Great Britain stand on the brink of reaching the second round of EuroBasket for the first time in the modern era after an 81-74 victory over Germany on Sunday.
Guard Andrew Lawrence scored eight of his game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter as GB picked up their second win of the opening round in Ljubljana, overturning an early 10-point deficit. Victory over Ukraine in the final Group A game today could be enough for Joe Prunty’s side to advance.
