Cycling: Cavendish withdraws after finger fuss
Mark Cavendish has been withdrawn from the Tour de Romandie, which finishes today, by his HTC-Columbia team following the two-fingered salute which accompanied his second win of the season.
The 24-year-old cyclist from the Isle of Man celebrated victory on stage two of the Swiss race on Thursday with the gesture, which he justified by saying: "I did it to say I'm back". But he later issued a public apology.
