Disability sport is to get a £10m boost from Sport England, the Sports Minister Gerry Sutcliffe said at the weekend.

During a visit to the Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver and Whistler, where ParalympicsGB has 12 athletes competing in Alpine skiing and wheelchair curling, Sutcliffe revealed the funding would be directed at the grass-roots level. "Sport England will be making an announcement in the next few months about investment in grass-roots sports," he said."We're looking for a further £10m going into disability sport."
