Thursday 09 May 2013
Tom Daley has suffered a setback in his World Championships preparations after he was forced to pull out of today's grand prix event in Fort Lauderdale with an elbow injury.
The 18-year-old suffered the problem in training in the lead-up to the meet and will be assessed before the two World Series events in Mexico next week.
A British Swimming statement read: "The diver [Daley] will now rest before a decision is made about the injury ahead of the World Series in Mexico which takes place from 17 to 19 May."
