Russian hockey player scores incredible goal at All-Star game
This ice hockey goal really sticks out
The US may currently be fixated with the upcoming Super Bowl and the ongoing snow storm, but something equally exciting and spectacular happened in a sports game on ice this past weekend.
Albeit, North Americans may have been watching the National Hockey League's All-Star game on Sunday, but over in Russia, their version of the All-Star match yielded arguably one of the most spectacular ice hockey penalties of all time.
The video shows Khanty-Mansiysk Yugra forward Nikita Gusev take the puck between his legs, spin 360 degrees and score in the top right-hand corner. On first viewing it's almost impossible to follow what Gusev is doing, and even in slow motion the goal needs to be viewed several times to understand the Russian's mastery.
