Snooker: O'Sullivan builds lead but lets 147 chance slip
Ronnie O'Sullivan yesterday edged towards the last 16 of the World Championship having established a 7-2 lead over Liang Wenbo, a promising Chinese qualifier, in their first-round tie.
'The Rocket' had a chance of a maximum 147 in the session's final frame after potting seven reds and seven blacks, but, with the balls well placed, he missed a routine pot on a red.
