Ronnie O'Sullivan is facing losing his top-16 place for the first time in 18 years. "The Rocket" has not been firing, with the 36-year-old failing to win a ranking title for two years.

His decision not to enter the last two Players Tour Championship events could backfire. If two of the chasing pack can overhaul him, the three-time world champion will be forced to qualify for major events.
