The daughter of Zafonic made her mark at the Royal meeting with a hugely impressive three-length success over Salut D'Amour in the Queen Mary Stakes.

Although Channon is considering targets in France and Ireland for Flashy Wings, he is in no hurry to finalise plans.

He said: "At this minute she's out in the paddock. She'll stay there for at least another couple of weeks. I'll let her tell me when she is ready for another run."

Flashy Wings is as low as 14-1 with William Hill for next year's 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket.

o Boylesports report support for the Aidan O'Brien-trained George Washington for next year's 2000 Guineas and the colt has been cut to 12-1 favourite from 16-1 for the Classic.

o The top American horse Kitten's Joy made a winning return to action in the Grade Two Firecracker Breeders' Cup Handicap at Churchill Downs on Monday night. The Dale Romans-trained four-year-old was last seen when second in the Breeders' Cup Turf last October, but had been sidelined after surgery to remove a bone chip from a knee.
