Bad-boy Moore the top hooker
Scott Moore has recorded an unusual double by being named as Super League's best hooker while under suspension by Huddersfield for misbehaviour. Moore (right) was included in the competition's Dream Team, but will be watching from the stands at St Helens on Saturday because he and Keith Mason have been stood down for two matches for horseplay at the Giants' post-Wembley civic reception.
"I'm gutted with myself more than anything," Moore said. "What we did was stupid and it's right that we apologised."
Moore is one of two Huddersfield players in the selection. Hull KR have four as do the League leaders, Leeds. Adrian Morley, who makes his third appearance in the team, has welcomed the Rugby League's about-face over awarding the Ashes for a single match between England and Australia in next month's Four Nations.
Wigan's reserve grade coach, Shaun Wane, has emerged as a candidate for the head coach's job if, as expected, Brian Noble moves to the Celtic Crusaders.
