Broncos take to the road
London Broncos are to test the water away from their Twickenham base in effort to boost worrying attendances.
The Broncos are taking Sunday's Super League game against Bradford to Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road ground and will use Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium as the venue for their match against Hull a fortnight later.
Gus Mackay, the club's chief executive, admits that the home crowds have been disappointing. "It's all about taking the game to new areas to try and attract some new audiences," he said.
