Warrington have agreed a three-year contract extension with their coach, Paul Cullen.

Warrington have agreed a three-year contract extension with their coach, Paul Cullen.

The club's long-serving ex-player took charge during the 2002 season and last year steered them into the Super League play-offs for the first time. His contract was due to expire at the end of this season.

Huddersfield have signed the Canberra hooker or half-back, Brad Drew, on a two-year contract.

Drew is rated one of the slickest operators from dummy-half in Australia and the Giants coach, Jon Sharp, described him as "the biggest signing we've made in Super League."

London Broncos have agreed contract extensions with three of their young English players: Paul Sykes, Rob Purdham and Neil Budworth.

Wigan are to look at the possibility of bringing in another prop to replace Quentin Pongia, who announced his retirement this week because of the publicity surrounding the fact that he is carrying the hepatitis B virus.
