Flanagan on his way to Wigan

Wigan have signed the 18-year-old stand-off, Mark Flanagan on a two-year deal from Bradford.

Flanagan, son of the former Great Britain loose forward Terry Flanagan, could emerge as understudy to Wigan's major close-season signing, Trent Barrett, and has the bonus of being an accomplished goal-kicker at a club with an obvious weakness in that area.
