Michael Maguire will name Gareth Hock in the Wigan squad to play Huddersfield on Saturday, but will not decide until later in the week whether to bring the second-rower straight back from his drugs ban.

Hock's two-year suspension for taking cocaine runs out tomorrow. He has already had special dispensation to resume training with his club. "He'll be part of the squad," Maguire said. "Whether we go with him we'll decide later in the week. We all know what Gaz can do. It's all a matter of giving him the opportunity, whether it is this week or the next couple of weeks," the Wigan coach added. "I know he's extremely hungry to get back in."

The Leeds prop Luke Burgess is to become the third member of his family at South Sydney. Burgess has been released by the Rhinos so that he can take up a two-and-a-half year contract with the Rabbitohs, following in the footsteps of his brothers, Sam and George.
