England have had mixed fortunes with their pack for Saturday's Test in France, with two forwards cleared to play but Sean O'Loughlin ruled out by injury.

The team's captain, Jamie Peacock, was placed on report for a suspected high tackle on the Catalan Dragons' Greg Bird on Saturday, but the RFL's match review panel ruled yesterday that he had no case to answer.

Bradford's Sam Burgess was sent to the sin bin for fighting in the match against Wakefield on Sunday. That incident was also placed on report, but the panel decided that his yellow card was sufficient punishment.

O'Loughlin is replaced by Joe Westerman, the 19-year-old Castleford loose forward, who was part of the squad for the international in Toulouse last year, but did not play. The Warriors' captain O'Loughlin damaged his knee in Wigan's victory over Salford on Friday night.
