Leeds Rhinos trailed by 10 points twice before hitting back to snatch a dramatic victory over arch-rivals Bradford Bulls in a pulsating game at Headingley.

Winger Scott Donald's second try three minutes from time salvaged a point for Leeds and Rob Burrow landed a touchline goal to seal a 26-24 triumph.

Burrow had begun Rhinos' fightback with a wonderful solo try on the stroke of half-time. The Bulls seemed to be in control when Karl Pryce completed his hat-trick to make it 24-14, but Danny McGuire's 21st try of the season gave Leeds a lifeline and then Donald crossed in the corner after a thrilling move and Burrow kept his nerve to land the kick.

Donald opened the scoring for Leeds early, but their inability to hang on to the ball proved costly. Pryce powered over after 13 minutes and four later Marcus St Hilaire scored after an error by Shane Millard.

Things got worse for the home side six minutes before half-time when Pryce finished a spell of pressure by powering through Danny McGuire's missed tackle for Bradford's third try.

Tries either side of half-time by Burrow and Nick Scruton gave Leeds a lifeline before Pryce broke through the defence moments later to complete his hat-trick. Bradford looked like hanging on as Danny Williams and Burrow both had tries disallowed, but Leeds dug in to snatch a famous win in a thrilling finale.

l Also in the Super League last night, St Helens thrashed Catalans Dragons 52-26 at Knowsley Road.
