Castleford's full-back, Richard Owen, faces an internal disciplinary hearing today after an alleged drunken incident over Christmas. The 21-year-old was arrested for assault in Pontefract on Christmas Day.

Sonny Bill Williams, league's biggest loss to union in recent years, is on the point of announcing a return to his original code with the Sydney City Roosters in 2013. The dual international is rumoured to be bored with rugby union, four years after walking out on the Canterbury Bulldogs to play for Toulon.
