Warrington were back to their destructive best with a 64-6 annihilation of Bradford yesterday.

The match was over as a contest in 15 minutes, with Ryan Atkins and Matt King both crossing twice. Atkins went on to total four, with winger, Joel Monaghan, taking a hat-trick.

Paul Wellens scored two tries as St Helens warmed up for their Cup semi-final against Wigan with a 46-26 victory at Castleford.

Huddersfield celebrated their return to the Galpharm Stadium with a 46-26 win over Hull KR in a try-fest.

Graeme Horne and Scott Grix both scored twice as attacks proved too hot for defences throughout. There was another high-scoring game at Perpignan, where the Catalan Dragons got off to a flying start against Harlequins with two early tries set up by superb ball-handling from Setaimata Sa. The Catalans finished 48-22 winners.

Wigan stayed top with a 30-16 win at the KC Stadium on Friday night. Hull pursued them most of the way, but two tries from Pat Richards and two brilliant ones from Sam Tomkins were too much for them to counter.

Salford could not convert their pressure on Leeds into points. Instead, they trailed by 18 at half-time and even a spirited fightback could not save them from a 30-2 loss that further reduces their slim chances of making the play-offs.
