Watkins '50-50' for Wembley final

Leeds' Kallum Watkins describes himself as "50-50" for Saturday's Challenge Cup final at Wembley. The 19-year-old centre twisted his knee during the defeat by Harlequins at the weekend, putting his place against Wigan in jeopardy.

But the injury is responding to treatment, giving him a fighting chance of being passed fit. "I'd rate myself as 50-50," he said. "At first I feared the worst, but it's gradually getting better. It's just a matter of getting the swelling down.

"Obviously, you don't want to miss playing in a major final, but if it's not right, it's not right. At my age, I'll have other chances."

The Rhinos' coach, Brian McDermott, has Lee Smith and Brett Delaney standing by.

The Wigan forward Harrison Hansen has been cleared to play after being found not guilty of making dangerous contact in the match against Bradford.
