LISELOTTE NEUMANN, of Sweden, pulled off an excellent double when she fired a last-round 67 for victory in the Trygg-Hansa Open at Haninge, Stockholm, yesterday.

Only seven days after her victory in the Weetabix British Open, Neumann shot an 18-under-par aggregate of 274 to finish four strokes clear of Corinne Dibnah, of Australia.

A pounds 15,000 winner's cheque took Neumann's earnings to pounds 102,750, a Tour record, to make her almost certain of topping the Ford Order of Merit table for the first time in her career. There was no containing Neumann as she swept to a third European win of the season with four birdies in a row from the 11th for her 67, a 10th consecutive round below par. Alison Nicholas, of Yorkshire, was the best of the British challengers. Nicholas had been out in 33 but slipped back with a homeward run of 39, leaving her seventh on 289.
