Ben, you're the Open champion.
Andrew Sutton, the local caddie who Ben Curtis hired a week ago.
I will wake up tomorrow a different man. My life is going to change, but I'm looking forward to it. A lot of great challenges lie ahead of me.
It's pretty remarkable. But anyone playing well can win any championship in the world, we all know that.
Tiger Woods, on Curtis's victory.
This week was a struggle, this golf course always makes me struggle. Whenever I finish playing here I feel as though I've been in 15 rounds with Lennox Lewis.
Tom Watson, who finished six over par.
You can get over it, it's that people keep reminding you about it. People still say to me have you got 14 clubs, two years on.
Ian Woosnam on Mark Roe's disqualification.
I'll cherish the memory forever.
Ernie Els on his year as champion.
Hopefully a major will come my way soon. A lot of good players have lost majors.
It is great to play well in my own country, especially in the Open which for me is the biggest tournament of them all, and maybe one day I'll be in a position to win it.
Brian Davis, the leading Briton.
It was a tough test, very, very tough. It seems like our majors are bordering on the edge of unfair all the time. You see a lot of funny bounces and that's what's frustrating. Sometimes it's out of your control. Thomas [Bjorn], Tiger [Woods] and Vijay [Singh] are all saying the same as me. Ben [Curtis] played very well but the rest of us didn't play good enough to get enough good bounces.
Davis Love III, who tied for fourth place.
