Sugar Ray Leonard yesterday announced he will return to the ring with a fight against Hector Camacho in February.
Despite more than five years out of the ring, he insisted: "I'm pretty good at boxing, even at age 40. I'm a young 40. I just happen to be a grandfather. I'm very excited about my venture back into the ring."
Could he win another world title? "When there's a reason to do something, nothing stands in my way," he said. "It's only been five years."
Leonard, who won an Olympic gold in 1976 and professional titles at five weights, has not fought since losing on points to Terry Norris in February 1991, when he took a fierce pounding.
